Kerstin has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kongsberg Beam Technology and joins the company with extensive experience from the Medtech industry. For the past three years she has served as CEO at Medicon Village Innovation AB in Lund, Sweden, making significant impact on the development by connecting research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Life Science park. Since the hub started, in 2012, Kerstin has been part of the management team and instrumental as Executive Vice President at Medicon Village and for the growth of the park.
Prior to this Kerstin has held several leading positions within business development and strategies at both small and large Life Science companies: CEO at SpectraCure AB and Ortoma AB as well as Sales Director at Hemocue AB. Additional work at Foss A/S, Tecator AB and Perstorp Analytical AB has added on marketing and commercialization experience of new products and services worldwide.

Kerstin Jakobsson, born in 1956, holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Lund University in Sweden.
