Kongsberg, September 24, 2020 – Kongsberg Beam Technology has received a Notice of Allowance from the Australian Patent Authorities.
The notice relates to Kongsberg Beam Technology’s first patent family that protects the design of the MAMA-K system, and includes a particle beam guiding system, method, and related radiotherapy system. This approval marks a start to a new era within proton therapy and is part of the company’s vision to improve patients’ well-being while undergoing cancer treatment.
